Kelp Meal For Plants

Kelp meal (Ascophyllum Nodosum), harvested from cold, clean waters, is a natural fertilizer made from dried and ground seaweed, which is rich in essential minerals, trace minerals, and micro nutrients that are beneficial for plant growth. Kelp meal can be used in the garden to improve soil health, promote plant growth, and increase root development and organic production.  Our product is not omri listed for organic use.  Our product is not water soluble either.  So you cant dump some with a gallon of water expecting this to dissolve.  This is unmanipulated kelp meal.

One of the main benefits of using organic norwegian kelp meal fertilizer in the garden is that it contains a wide range of minerals, vitamins, and probiotics, including potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron, which are essential for plant growth and development during the growing season. It also contains plant growth hormones, such as auxins and cytokinins, which can help stimulate root growth and improve plant health.

This can be applied to garden beds in several ways. It can be mixed into compost or added directly to the soil around plants. It can also be brewed into a liquid fertilizer and applied as a foliar spray.

When using kelp meal in the garden, it is important to follow the recommended application rates. Generally, it is recommended to apply 1-2 pounds of kelp meal per 100 square feet of garden bed every three months.  For container plants, please use 1-2 tablespoons per 1 gallon of soil.

Overall, this is a natural and effective way to improve soil health and promote plant growth in the garden. It is a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to chemical fertilizers and can help gardeners grow healthy, productive plants without harming the soil or the environment.
