Soil Amendments

Our Soil Amendments are sourced as locally as possible!  We take great care in storing, packaging, and shipping to ensure a quality product is received by our customers.  We store our products in a place where cross contamination can not happen along with having our facilities out of the elements that would normally damage the product.  We want our customers to be able to see results and that starts with how a distributor handles the product and how it takes care of it.  Feel free to browse some of our product informational pages below and if you are ready to buy click here to be directed to our shop page.

Soil amendments refer to any substance that is added to soil in order to improve its physical, chemical, or biological properties. There are many different types of soil amendments available here at blood meal for less including but not limited to sulfur, blood meal, and humic acid.

One of the most common types of soil amendments is worm castings, which dramatically improves and increases organic matter in the soil. Organic matter can improve soil structure, increase water-holding capacity, and provide essential nutrients to plants.

Lime and sulfur are examples of soil amendments that are used to adjust the pH of the soil.  Lime is used to raise the pH of acidic soil, while sulfur is used to lower the pH of alkaline soil.

Overall, soil amendments can play a critical role in improving soil health and increasing plant productivity. However, it is important to carefully consider the specific needs of your soil and plants before selecting an appropriate amendment.
