Humic Acid is known as one of the most bio-chemically active materials found in soil, responsible for making stronger plant life by providing readily available nutrients. But that’s not all, humic acid possesses high water retention and helps maximize soil amendments.
Granular Humic Acid & Soluble Humic Acid
As you can see from the above pictures, we have two types of humic acid. Granular humic acid is not soluble in water and is best to incorporate into soil directly. Soluble humic acid can be incorporate within the soil itself but is primarily used as a foliar sprayed product and is also used in compost teas.
